The Washington Capitals acquired left wing D.J. King from the St. Louis Blues for left winger Stefan Della Rovere on Wednesday.

King, 26, has appeared in 101 games over his four seasons in the NHL, all with St. Louis, and has four goals and five assists along with 185 penalty minutes.
